Questions

Something else? [email protected]

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once, $29, and it's yours, with free updates for version 1.

Can I try it first?

Yes. Download it from this site and use everything for 14 days. If it isn't for you, you don't pay.

What happens when the trial ends?

The app keeps your data, and you decide whether to buy. There's no account and no automatic charge.

App Store or direct download?

It's the same app. The download from this site comes with the free trial, updates itself and lets you pay without an Apple ID. The App Store version is paid up front and updates through the App Store, so try the download first if you like.

What if it isn't for me?

Use the trial first. If you bought it directly and it still isn't right, ask for your money back within the refund period.

Does Tuckaroo need an account or send my data anywhere?

No. There is no account and no Tuckaroo cloud. Your notes are Markdown files in a folder you choose, your files stay where they are, and your clipboard history stays on your Mac.

Is my clipboard history safe?

Copies from password managers and copies apps mark as secret are never kept. Clips are blurred until the pointer is on one, and the history file is readable only by you. You can pause it with one click in the Clipboard column, or turn the history off completely in Settings.

Which Macs does it run on?

Macs with macOS 15 Sequoia or later.

Will it get in the way of my menu bar or other apps?

No. The panel opens only when you scroll down on the menu bar or use your shortcut, and closes as soon as you move on. Scrolling a document never opens it.

Does it work with a mouse instead of a trackpad?

Yes. A scroll wheel opens it too, and if your mouse software reverses scrolling, you can reverse it for the menu bar.

Where are my notes stored?

In a folder you choose, as plain .md files. Put it in iCloud Drive to have them on every Mac.

Which calendars does it show?

The ones on your Mac, like iCloud, Google, Exchange and others you added to Calendar. You choose which show.

Is it accessible?

It follows Reduce Motion, Increase Contrast and Reduce Transparency, has its own high contrast and text sizes, and labels everything for VoiceOver.
