Terms and refunds
Who sells Tuckaroo, what you get when you buy it, and how to get your money back if it isn't for you.
Draft, pending legal review. This page is a first proposal and not yet in force.
To check before it goes live: the registered address and VAT number, the licence for “all your own Macs”, the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content in the EU next to our 30-day refund, the warranty and liability wording, and Dutch law as the governing law.
Who we are
Tuckaroo is made by Robin Poort and sold by PLP Media B.V., registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 96854413.
Questions, support or a refund: [email protected].
What you get
- A one-time purchase, not a subscription: $29, paid once.
- A licence to use Tuckaroo on all your own Macs, for yourself.
- Free updates for version 1.
- Please don't share, resell or publish your licence.
Try it first
The download from this website works with every feature for 14 days before you pay, without an account. If you decide not to buy, nothing more happens. The Mac App Store version has no trial: it is paid up front, so try the download first if you like.
Refunds
Bought here, directly. If Tuckaroo isn't right for you, email [email protected] within 30 days of your purchase, from the address you bought with, and you get your money back in full.
Bought on the Mac App Store. Apple handles App Store purchases, so refunds go through Apple too: ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't refund App Store purchases ourselves.
Your data
Tuckaroo has no account and keeps your files, notes and clipboard on your Mac. The privacy page says what it keeps, where, and what it asks macOS for.
Updates
The version from this website checks for updates and installs them when you agree. The App Store version is updated by the App Store.
Warranty and liability
We do our best to make Tuckaroo reliable, and keep your files safe: it never deletes, it moves to the Trash. Still, software can have faults. As far as the law allows, Tuckaroo is provided as it is, and PLP Media B.V. is not liable for indirect damage or lost data; keep backups of what matters. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under the law.
Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is published here with its date. The version that applies to your purchase is the one in force when you bought it.
Draft of 29 October 2026.
